MAMMA MIA Celebrates Ten Years on Broadway with a Sing-a-Long Event!

MAMMA MIA!, the global smash-hit based on the music of ABBA and written by Catherine Johnson, is celebrating its tenth year on the Great White Way.

Sing-a-Long with the Movie

To commemorate the anniversary, producers of MAMMA MIA! and Allied Live will be presenting a special one-night-only screening of the 2008 film version, starring Meryl Streep and Colin Firth, on Tuesday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m at the legendary Ziegfeld Theatre. Fans will have the opportunity to sing-along to their favorite hits with Broadway stars!

Those in attendance will also receive special merchandise and can enter for a chance to win tickets to the 10th Anniversary Broadway performance on October 18. The Ziegfeld is at 141 West 54th Street in Manhattan. Tickets to the September 20 screening are $15.00. To purchase, click here.

Our theatre is interested in getting the rights to perform “Mamma Mia”. Is there any indication as to when they will ever be available?

Unfortunately the show has not yet been acquired by a licensing house, so MAMMA MIA is a long way away.
