After making it home from the 2010 International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, NE and having a couple of days to think about my experience, all I can say is WOW! It was a true pleasure seeing first-hand the talent and hard work every performer and crew member brought to the stage. Another rewarding week of musical theatre!

As part of MTI’s continuing coverage of the Festival, we’re happy to share this link from the Denver Post which features a spotlight on the students from the Denver School of the Arts and their production of URINETOWN which they performed at this year’s Festival.  Click here to read the article on Denverpost.com.

We’re also including a great video created by the cast and crew entitled URINETOWN: Behind the Golden Curtain…

Congratulations on a stellar performance!

First of all I would like to say wonderful blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.

I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are
generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions
    or hints? Many thanks!
